Cottonseed husk, also called cotton husk, is the outer shell left after the cottonseed is separated by a peeler. According to different types of peeling machinery, different cotton seed varieties, different producing areas, different moisture content, and different sieving degrees of crushed cotton kernel powder after peeling. The size, color, lint length, and nutrients (including cotton kernel powder) of the processed cottonseed hulls are also different. Cottonseed husks are mainly used for: breeding edible and medicinal fungi, as feed, raising livestock, etc. One of the most important uses is gasification for power generation
